Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano (☆☆☆☆☆ )

Hello Beautiful is definitely one of my favorite reads of 2023 (so far)! The writing is gorgeous, the character development was tender, and the twists and turns of this soft family drama TOOK ME THROUGH IT! The book is told from varying viewpoints of William Waters, a basketball star with a traumatic past, and members of the Patavano family - his wife Julia and her four sisters. When William and Julia start to date, he realizes she is never far from her three younger sisters: Sylvie, the dreamer, happiest with her nose in a book, Cecelia, the family’s artist, and Emeline, who takes care of all of them. Happily, the Padavanos fold Julia’s new boyfriend into their loving, chaotic household. Ultimately, I think Hello Beautiful is about accepting the people we love as they are, not who we want them to be.

If you loved Little Women as a child or young adult, this one is definitely for you!
