Book Review : Yellowface by R. F. Kuang
Review: Yellowface by R. F. Kuang (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Generally don’t love unlikeable protagonist stories but this one definitely kept me hooked in, like, a horrified fascination kind of way. Team absolutely NO redemption for June Heyward.
Reading it in 2025 is entertaining bc Twitter/X and Goodreads play such a prominent role and they are now shells of what they once were, and I love the (early?) exploration of online cancel culture.
