Book Review :: Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (☆ ☆ )
Project Hail Mary is certainly a crowd-pleaser. It follows the story of Dr. Ryland Grace, a lone astronaut in space who is sent to save planet Earth. Along the way, he encounters all the problems as well as a delightful little alien named Rocky. It wasn’t my favorite read - I think the characters lacked dimension and I don’t love the bumbling scientist who magically stumbles on all the answers trope. HOWEVER, I was guessing until the end, and I appreciated the way the author turned problems into solutions.
