And Then There Were None (Agatha Christie) meets Pretty Little Liars. Semi-predictable revenge thriller!
Sweet, lovey read.
Read if you like: How Not to Die Alone, Eleanor Oliphant
steamy romance, unlikeable protagonist, lgbtq+ life in the early 1900s, the THEA-TAH!
read if you like: city of girls, my year of rest and relaxation, OR any other sarah waters book
Points for being unpredictable and hitting hard with topics like environmental activism/climate crisis and problematic, god-complex billionaires. I was (am?) deeply uncomfortable with the way the book ended, but also feel like that is ultimately the point.
Project Hail Mary is certainly a crowd-pleaser. It follows the story of Dr. Ryland Grace, a lone astronaut in space who is sent to save planet Earth.
